Interface - Note tree
This preferences section is designed to customize the appearance of the Notes panel, where the note tree is displayed.
The Font size drop-down list allows you to change the font size used for note titles in the tree. If Default size is selected, the application will use the font size defined by your operating system for interface elements.
The Icon size drop-down list allows you to change the size of the icons displayed next to each note in the tree. By default, the smallest size (16 x 16 pixels) is used. You can choose from the following options: 20 x 20, 24 x 24, 32 x 32, or 48 x 48 pixels. This is particularly useful for high-resolution displays.
The Show note icons check box allows you to show or hide icons preceding note titles in the tree.
In the Extra icons group, you can enable or disable additional icons that appear next to the main icon under certain conditions:
- The Show bookmark icon check box enables or disables an extra icon indicating that the page has been bookmarked.
- The Show read-only icon check box enables or disables an extra icon indicating that the page is opened in read-only mode.
This version of OutWiker includes two types of built-in extra icons, but plugins can add their own. For example, the RecentEditedPages plugin adds an icon indicating that the page was edited today.
